Autoliv is seeking a Record to Report Advanced Specialist in Queretaro, Mexico, to manage the full fixed asset lifecycle, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, a minimum of 2 years of experience, and advanced knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS, Excel, and ERP systems.
Ansvarsområden
- Manage the full fixed asset lifecycle, including asset creation, capitalization, depreciation, transfers, and disposals.
- Oversee CAPEX activities by monitoring capital projects, tracking work-in-progress (WIP), and ensuring accurate capitalization.
- Ensure timely and accurate account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities related to fixed assets.
- Maintain strong internal controls, support audits, resolve asset discrepancies, and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
- Lead and develop the team while ensuring accurate and timely Master Data Management (MDM) database updates and asset record maintenance.
Krav
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Record-to-Report (RTR), General Accounting, or a similar finance/accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS, with hands-on experience in journal entries, account reconciliations, financial analysis, and month-end close processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, BlackLine, OneStream, and ERP systems such as JD Edwards, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Advanced business-level English communication skills, along with a solid understanding of SOX requirements, internal controls, and financial reporting best practices.
