AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Real Estate Development Manager in Mumbai, India, to execute infrastructure strategy and build data centers. This role involves contract ownership, technical, commercial, and legal negotiations with developers and partners, acting as a key escalation point for internal stakeholders. A strong understanding of the Indian real estate and construction market, along with full development lifecycle experience, is essential.
Ansvarsområden
- Drive solutions during feasibility and due diligence, including conceptual budgeting, scheduling, and financial analysis.
- Partner with Business Development leads on developer and partner engagements, negotiations, and deal closing.
- Establish development risks and remedies, documenting solutions for legal and business approval.
- Develop suitable procurement strategies aligned with development requirements.
- Provide judgement on issues arising during development, working with internal and external partners to mitigate risks.
- Serve as the key interface with development partners or landowners from contract execution to building handover.
- Engage with internal teams (Legal, Design Engineering, Construction Management) and external Developer teams to incorporate project requirements into contracts.
- Manage engagements with developers to communicate company expectations and oversee timely milestone completion.
Krav
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Structural, Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in project management, real estate development, architecture/design.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: construction or engineering project management, real estate development, or architecture/design.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Master's Degree or higher (including Juris Doctor) in Business Administration, Urban Planning, Architecture, Engineering, Real Estate or related fields.
- Understanding of and experience in the Data Center industry, including data center siting and general operations.
- Experience in public private partnerships.
- Ability to understand and communicate high-level electrical, power & cooling, fiber optics, and other technical requirements, particularly related to Internet infrastructure.
