Alfa Laval is seeking an R&D Development Engineer specializing in valves for their Kolding, Denmark location. The role involves developing and maintaining hygienic valves, collaborating with global teams, and requires a mechanical engineering background with experience in CAD and PLM.

Ansvarsområden

Collaborate with the valve development team and R&D organization on quality, process improvement, and resource optimization.
Work closely with internal and global stakeholders to maintain a competitive valves portfolio.
Participate in projects from initial concept to product launch, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
Support development of new products and improvements to existing valves to meet market needs and customer requirements.

Krav

Mechanical engineering background with at least 5 years of experience in product design or construction, preferably within hygienic equipment.
Skilled in CFD, with a desire to further develop this competence.
Proficient in CAD (NX preferred) and PLM (Siemens NX and TeamCenter preferred).
Knowledge of mechanical design requirements, manufacturing methods, and applications in the hygienic industry.
Excellent communication skills in English and Danish, both oral and written.
