Ansvarsområden

Design and implement product features in C++ and Python, including numerical routines, data processing pipelines, algorithms, and user-facing components for healthcare and life sciences simulation applications.
Build orchestration systems for multi-step scientific workflows, managing project state, job execution, persistence, versioning, error handling, and performance of long-running computations.
Translate business, clinical, and technical requirements into maintainable software features, testable user stories, acceptance criteria, and clear engineering tasks.
Write unit, integration, and regression tests, profile performance-critical code, apply reliability patterns, improve observability, and follow secure coding practices to ensure production quality.
Standardize and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, including automated builds, tests, static analysis, packaging, release workflows, and traceable quality gates.
Collaborate with product owners, domain experts, and software engineers throughout the product development lifecycle, contributing to architecture decisions and design reviews.
Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, while supporting continuous improvement of development processes and engineering best practices.

Krav

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical discipline with 3-6 years of software development experience.
Strong proficiency in C, C++, and Python with practical knowledge of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, debugging, and performance optimization.
Experience developing software solutions for Healthcare, Life Sciences, Medical Devices, or other scientific and engineering domains.
Practical familiarity with DevOps practices including Git-based workflows, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, artifact management, and release support.
Experience using AI-assisted programming and testing tools to accelerate development, generate tests, review code, and maintain quality standards.
Familiarity with modern software architecture and API development, including modular design, service interfaces, versioned APIs, dependency management, and maintainable integration patterns.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Experience with multiphysics simulation products such as finite element analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), fluid-structure interaction, or biomechanics is a strong plus.
Experience in medical image analysis, cloud computing, machine learning, or computational modeling is a strong plus.
