I korthet

As a Quality Technician in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, you will ensure adherence to quality standards by inspecting and testing materials, parts, and products. Your responsibilities include analyzing test results, maintaining equipment calibration, and documenting findings to support manufacturing quality.

Ansvarsområden

  • Follow all safety policies and lead by example.
  • Assess production area for quality and product integrity by performing evaluations and tests according to standards.
  • Identify non-conforming products, analyze test results, and determine root cause.
  • Verify equipment calibration and ensure it meets specifications.
  • Instruct production leads on established procedures.
  • Monitor and audit manufacturing activities for conformance.
  • Place non-conforming inventory on hold and notify the Quality Manager.
  • Review record documentation for completeness and secure corrections.
  • Inspect welding activities.
  • Review test reports, post weld heat treat charts, and defect records.
  • Assist with internal and external audits for ASME compliance.
  • Perform receiving inspection for product identification, material requirements, and MTRs.
  • Document test results and prepare Non-Conformity Reports.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with other tasks as needed.

Krav

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years of experience in a heat exchanger manufacturing quality control environment or a combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Clear communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Deadline driven with a sense of urgency and customer focus.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize situations and tasks by importance.
  • Ability to respond to rapidly changing priorities and deal with multiple demands.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • College or technical school degree preferred.
  • Working knowledge in PT, Hardness readings, MT, Visual Inspection.
  • Understanding of WPS, PQR, WPQ and AWS – D1.1.
  • Working knowledge of ASME (U1a form), National Board (NBIC).
  • Knowledge of internal instrumentation such as chart recorders and hydro gauges.
