Responsibilities
- Verify package quality characteristics are within specification and record test results.
- Place all non-compliant material on hold.
- Understand and follow all safety, quality, lamination and press procedures.
- Perform assigned Autonomous Maintenance (AM) tasks in the lab and on machine.
- Attend AM meetings.
- Assure all material produced is within specification.
- Participate in World Class Manufacturing (WCM) team activities.
- Comply with safety measures and good manufacturing practices.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Quality inspection and machine systems handling experience.
- 1 to 2 years of quality experience in a production/manufacturing environment preferred.
- Basic machine maintenance skills.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Dependability and reliability.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic math skills, basic reading comprehension.
- Ability to read, understand and comply with work directions, training manuals, safety rules, standard operating procedures and World Class Manufacturing processes.
Desired Qualifications
- Quality assurance certification preferred.
