SGD is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Auditor in Centurion, South Africa. The role involves developing and executing audit plans, facilitating customer audits, and contributing to operational improvement initiatives, reporting to the Head of Operational Excellence.

Ansvarsområden

  • Develop and/or provide input during yearly audit plans.
  • Conduct audits in accordance with the audit plan.
  • Facilitate, support, and advise Operations during Customer and certification audits.
  • Manage audits in the task management tool (register, reporting etc.).
  • Take part in Operational improvement initiatives.
  • Collect information by interviewing, listening, observing and reviewing documents, records and data.
  • Verify accuracy of collected information.
  • Confirm the accuracy of audit evidence to support audit findings and conclusions.
  • Assess compliance to requirements and follow-up on implementation of corrective actions.
  • Handle the applicable task management system for the managing of non-conformities, observations and improvement actions.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently without close supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate confidently and positively with a wide range of people/cultural diversity.

  • At least 7 years of work relevant experience.
  • Experience in ISO 9001:2015, AS 9100, AS 9110, ISO 9011, etc.
  • Broad operational knowledge and experience in the functions of the organization (e.g. training management, aircraft operations, air traffic management, aerodrome operations, and maintenance organization management).
  • Able to handle tight timelines and severe pressure at times.
  • Reasonable level of business acumen, understanding of basic financial principles in budgeting, costing and forecasting.
  • Lean manufacturing principles.

  • Root cause failure analysis, value stream mapping and measurement system analysis.
  • Total quality management (Quality Tools).

  • BSc, B-Tech or equivalent (NQF level 6 or higher).
