Amazon Music seeks a Quality Assurance Technician to perform manual testing, debug and maintain automation scripts, and write high-quality test cases. Responsibilities include identifying, tracking, and reporting defects, creating automation scripts for low complexity test cases, and ensuring a deep understanding of application features and requirements.

Ansvarsområden

  • Perform manual testing where applicable.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and maintain automation scripts by fixing stability issues.
  • Write test cases (not test plans) that are high quality, high value, and maintainable.
  • Reproduce product defects and script failures to assist developers or other testers.
  • Identify, track, and accurately report defects.
  • Create automation scripts for low complexity test cases based on feasibility analysis.
  • Acquire knowledge of features and detailed functional requirements to execute assigned tests.
  • Find gaps in the test plan/test coverage.
  • Perform Black Box testing.
  • Write test cases for new features, and modify/maintain existing test cases.
  • Understand and ramp up on QA procedures, guidelines, and policies for newly launched features.
  • Use software tools for QA, fix up and data capture on a daily basis.
  • Be proactive in identifying issues, deep diving, troubleshooting, and communicating to stakeholders.
  • Escalate issues and provide status reports.

Krav

  • 6+ months of non-internship professional software development testing experience.
  • Experience scripting for automation (e.g., Python, Perl, Ruby).

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience in API & Mobile testing.
  • Experience with UI and API automation testing (Selenium/SOAPUI).
  • Good knowledge in language, vocabulary & grammar & contextual information.
  • Ability to deep dive on applications & comparing features between various versions & identifying changes made within versions.
