The Quality Assurance Technician supports and implements quality standards and procedures in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include performing inspections, assisting with audits, maintaining records, and proposing process improvements, requiring strong attention to detail and PC proficiency.

Ansvarsområden

  • Perform inspections on incoming material and completed products.
  • Assist with quality audits.
  • Maintain quality assurance standards and procedures.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Prepare documents and records of inspections.
  • Perform physical property tests (i.e., tensile, hardness).
  • Complete quality checks on the production floor.
  • Ensure measurement devices are within calibration.
  • Propose and implement process improvements.

Krav

  • High self-motivation and ability to work independently on multiple projects.
  • High attention to detail and organization.
  • Ability to execute with minimal supervision.
  • Work on a PC with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Manufacturing experience in a facilitator, technician, coordinator, and/or lead role (or equivalent experience).
  • Two years of experience implementing quality (i.e., checks and tests).
  • Basic knowledge of company products and processes.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate with production leadership.
  • Ability to operate laboratory-testing equipment.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Occasional schedule flexibility may be necessary.
  • Experience in gage calibration desired, but not required.
  • Experience using QMS software desired, but not required.
