Emerson is hiring a Quality Assurance Specialist in Mansfield, MA to ensure safety relief valves for nuclear power plants and US Navy vessels meet ASME code and quality requirements. Responsibilities include reviewing technical and process documentation, communicating with departments and suppliers regarding deficiencies, and maintaining record archival procedures.

Ansvarsområden

  • Review and verify technical document records for compliance with ASME code and internal quality control assurance requirements.
  • Approve special process documentation by comparing detailed requirements to ASME code and internal quality assurance specifications.
  • Communicate timely with various departments regarding deficiencies and required corrective actions.
  • Contact suppliers regarding documentation certificate deficiencies, clarifying requirements and recommending corrective actions.
  • Review and approve supplier documentation to ensure purchased items conform to procurement specifications.
  • Maintain alignment with quality assurance record storage and archival procedures.

Krav

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Process oriented – strives towards continuous improvement and streamlining process.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Associate degree.
  • Prior work experience within a quality assurance program/department.
  • Demonstrated technical writing skills.
  • Technical background gained through education or relevant manufacturing work experience.
  • Familiarity with ASME code or military specifications.
  • Familiarity with Oracle based operating system.
  • Experience in an ISO 9001 environment.
