Atlas Copco is looking for a Quality Assurance Inspector to conduct process and product audits on the production floor. This role involves initiating containment activities, updating inventory, analyzing audit results, and supporting problem-solving initiatives within a manufacturing environment. The position is based in New Hudson, US, and is a full-time, on-site opportunity.

Ansvarsområden

  • Perform quality audits on the production floor to ensure product conformity and adherence to procedures.
  • Initiate containment and certification activity for non-conformances.
  • Update product inventory status in Syspro and record non-conforming products in QDA.
  • Approve and release product in QDA and update Syspro inventory.
  • Analyze, track, and report audit results to production and quality teams.
  • Initiate problem-solving and corrective action activities.
  • Create instructions and visual aids to standardize work processes.
  • Train and support personnel in quality-related training.
  • Support customer concern investigations and manufacturing quality issues.
  • Participate in internal auditing systems.
  • Assist in product inspection and scheduled product audits.
  • Carry out other related duties as assigned.

Krav

  • Working knowledge of quality systems.
  • Skills with Windows and MS Office applications.
  • Experience using Syspro or similar business systems.
  • Ability to maintain professional behavior.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organized with excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to travel to customer locations if required.
  • High school diploma or associate’s degree.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Able to walk, bend, and stand throughout the shift.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Certified auditor preferred, not required.
  • Experience in a manufacturing plant and lab environment.
