We are seeking a Python Senior Technical Lead to spearhead technical projects involving SQL, data analysis, and Python. The role requires designing SQL databases, performing data analysis for insights, and developing Python scripts for automation, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions. Proficiency in SAS and Pyspark is essential for translating complex IRB model documentation.

Ansvarsområden

  • Lead technical projects involving SQL, data analysis, and Python from inception to implementation.
  • Design and develop SQL databases, queries, and stored procedures.
  • Conduct data analysis to derive valuable insights and support data-driven decisions.
  • Develop and maintain Python scripts for task automation and process streamlining.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to SQL databases, data analysis, and Python scripts.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend system enhancements.
  • Translate complex IRB model documentation (SAS) into specifications for Python and Pyspark development.
  • Support the delivery of implemented models.
  • Take ownership of assigned deliverables and ensure high-quality documentation.
  • Translate complex SAS code into clear requirements for Data Engineers.

Krav

  • Proficient in SQL for database design, optimization, complex queries, and stored procedures.
  • Strong data analysis skills for extraction, cleaning, and analysis.
  • Experience in Python programming for automation, data manipulation, and scripting.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • SAS Enterprise experience, including understanding and translating complex SAS code and macros.
  • Ability to write understandable code and produce supporting documentation.
  • Experience with System Testing and System Integration Testing.
  • Data lineage analysis skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of problems and lead them to successful conclusion.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Degree in a relevant subject matter or demonstrable industry experience in credit risk model implementation and financial services.
  • Comfortable working in an Agile environment (desirable).
  • Understanding of risk rating systems and origination systems such as PCO, PCCM, TRIAD (desirable).
  • Accountable and a self-starter, demonstrating ability to take ownership of a problem and see it through to successful resolution (desirable).
