Purchasing Associate needed in Pune, India with experience in Procurement or Procure-to-Pay (P2P) operations, including PO creation, GR processing, and supplier query management. Must have strong knowledge of procurement tools like SAP ECC, S4 Hana, Ariba, and ServiceNow.

Ansvarsområden

  • Execute transactional and replenishment activities in line with sourcing strategies.
  • Ensure process compliance.
  • Create Purchase Orders based on approved Purchase Requisitions.
  • Confirm orders with Suppliers for Critical Items.
  • Reconcile GRIR for Indirect Purchases and meet set targets.
  • Manage aged Purchase Orders according to guidelines.
  • Resolve invoice queries from internal/external stakeholders.
  • Comply with global supplier management processes and stay updated on developments.
  • Update Supply Manager and stakeholders on operational purchasing issues and share best practices.
  • Report system issues to the relevant supplier management contact.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Communicate updates and new developments to relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor operational dashboard KPIs/Metrics and drive actions to achieve targets.

Krav

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in any discipline.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Minimum 1-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Well versed in SAP ECC and S4 Hana.
  • Supplier Management Process Knowledge.
  • Action oriented.
  • Assertive.
  • Ability to work under deadlines.
  • Team Player.
  • Proactive communication.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with cross-border stakeholders.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Working knowledge of any foreign Asian language is an added advantage.
  • Working knowledge of Ariba would be an added advantage.
