ABB is seeking a Project Lead Engineer for Process Automation in Cheonan. This on-site, full-time role involves technical leadership for engineering activities, ensuring efficient and cost-effective project execution, and acting as a design authority. The position requires over 3 years of experience with DCS, strong IT knowledge, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.

Ansvarsområden

  • Act as the technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments.
  • Ensure activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are executed efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Act as a design authority for a particular engineering discipline and complete corresponding engineering assignments.
  • Collaborate on project installation, commissioning, and site activities to clarify potential issues or provide solutions.
  • Coach project engineers and designers on translating conceptual designs to engineering documentation.
  • Lead, supervise, and coordinate teams (less than 10 members) in all engineering disciplines.
  • Apply design thinking or design for excellence concepts in projects.

Krav

  • Over 3 years of experience in plant, working as project engineer with DCS.
  • Strong knowledge of and hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining, engineering (P&ID convert to DCS graphic, SAMA convert to DCS Logic & Loop), commissioning, and troubleshooting of DCS, HMI, EWS.
  • Experience of sub-vendor management, documentation review (vendor prints), and delivering customer training.
  • Solid IT knowledge, including server/workstation hardware, operating systems, domain servers, and networking.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently to domestic sites (over 60%), occasional international travel.
  • Business-level proficiency in English (verbal and written) and native-level in Korean fluency.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience with P&ID and SAMA conversions to DCS graphics and logic.
  • Familiarity with modelling, prototyping, simulation, and calculations.
