Atlas Copco is seeking a Project Expert for their Oil Injected Screw (OIS) compressor development in Antwerp, Belgium. This hybrid role involves leading product development from concept to production, focusing on efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate has a Master's in Mechanical Engineering and 2+ years of experience in project leadership and product development within a technical environment.

Ansvarsområden

Lead and steer the project team throughout the whole product development process.
Guide the product from concept to industrialization: from specifications to conceptual design, prototype testing, production process development, test batches, and follow-up after serial production.
Be responsible for the technical scope, safeguarding technical coherence during the design phase.
Optimize product design for cost and value for all stakeholders.
Gain hands-on experience with products at the Atlas Copco airpower site in Wilrijk and work outside of a traditional desk environment.

Krav

Master's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
2+ years of experience as project leader/manager in a technical environment.
2+ years of experience in a product development context.
Technical background, preferably in mechanical engineering, with strong analytical skills.
Fluent communication in English.
Team player who can work with and motivate a project team.
Result-driven, committed to targets and goals, making decisions based on accurate information.
Ability to challenge the status quo, think out-of-the-box, and seek improvement opportunities.
Clear, concise, and effective communication skills.
