Alstom is seeking a Project Engineering Manager (PrEM) to lead engineering efforts for traction projects, ensuring quality, cost, and deadline commitments. This role involves managing multidisciplinary engineering teams, planning resources, and collaborating with customers to drive project success in the mobility sector.

Ansvarsområden

  • Oversee and coordinate the work of the engineering core team (Power, Mechanical, RAMS, Validation, Software).
  • Ensure efficient delivery of Engineering Work Packages.
  • Develop and implement the Engineering Management Plan.
  • Monitor performance and manage risks to keep the project on track.
  • Represent engineering in front of internal customers, providing updates on progress, issues, and risks.
  • Lead design reviews and manage product modifications.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and support DFQ Gate Reviews and QCD objectives.
  • Anticipate staffing needs, resolve capacity challenges, and communicate updates on workloads and forecasts.

Krav

  • Engineering degree with solid knowledge of technical and project management tasks.
  • Assertive, organized, and able to manage pressure in demanding environments.
  • Strong understanding of budgets, timelines, and financial metrics.
  • Proven ability to motivate cross-functional teams and drive results in a collaborative setting.
