Alstom is seeking a full-time Project Engineering Manager in Bangalore. This role involves managing the technical scope of signalling projects, leading engineering teams, overseeing customer acceptance, and ensuring quality, cost, and delivery commitments are met. The position requires a degree in Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in the signalling industry.

Ansvarsområden

  • Manage the technical contractual scope of the project.
  • Functionally lead the project engineering team.
  • Manage project technical risks.
  • Take care of customer acceptance of the project solution.
  • Supervise Verification & Validation activities.
  • Be accountable for the project solution customization to meet Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Performance commitments.
  • Build and analyze the project requirements database in collaboration with the Project Architect.
  • Chair the Project Change Control Board (CCB).
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and design choices.
  • Lead the project engineering team and ensure the follow-up of engineering activities.
  • Coordinate the resolution of technical issues during the warranty period.

Krav

  • Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in the signalling industry.
  • At least five years in signalling design.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Leadership ability to manage and motivate engineering teams.
  • Proficiency in system specification and requirements development.
  • Capability to manage Engineering Work Packages and associated risks.
