Alstom seeks a Project Engineering Manager in Charleroi, Belgium, to lead the delivery of technical solutions, managing engineering teams and client relations. The role requires an Engineering Degree and 5-10 years of experience in complex environments, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Ansvarsområden

  • Manage functionally the Project Engineering Team (5-20 people) and secure their commitment to the project.
  • Represent Engineering within the Project Management Team.
  • Represent Alstom in front of customers or partners, providing overviews of design progress, issues, and risks.
  • Provide regular reporting and performance analysis to Management.
  • Define and ensure the execution of the Engineering Management Plan.
  • Initiate and maintain constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Krav

  • Engineering Degree in Electronics, Telecom, Automation, Electricity, Robotics or a similar technical specialty is mandatory.
  • 5 to 10 years in relevant positions (systems / sub-systems integration, embedded equipment, electrotechnical product development, tests, Safety) in a highly complex and normative environment (railway, aerospace, defense, nuclear).
  • Full proficient use of English and a good command of French are mandatory.
  • Rigorous and reliable.
  • Leadership.
  • Good autonomy.
  • Excellent communication and inter-relational skills.
  • Analytical skills.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Specific background in engineering combined with People and Project management experience would be a valuable asset.
  • Intercultural mind, integration skills.
  • (self) entrepreneurial.
  • Team motivator.
  • Other languages would be assets (especially German and Dutch).
