Synopsys is hiring a Senior Staff Engineer for Project Engineering Management in Dublin, Ireland. This role involves leading the planning and execution of development projects for High-Performance Computing (HPC) applications. The ideal candidate has at least 6 years of experience in project management and engineering, preferably in ASIC design/verification.

Ansvarsområden

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying potential issues and implementing corrective actions.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and milestones to stakeholders.
  • Represent R&D on customer relationships, tracking execution to plan, and managing mitigation and escalation.
  • Mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Krav

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Background in ASIC Design/Verification/Implementation, preferably digital.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, MS Project preferred.
  • Knowledge/experience of developing or using 3rd party IP, preferably digital.
  • Proven experience in project management, with a track record of successfully leading semiconductor engineering projects, ideally in ASIC Design/verification.
  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
  • At least 6 years of experience in project management and engineering.
