Amazon seeks a Project Engineer to lead the planning and execution of new and existing facilities in North or East India. The role involves site selection, compliance, safety, value management, and driving project management initiatives like standardization and energy conservation, ensuring on-time, safe, and budget-adherent delivery with high engineering standards.

Ansvarsområden

  • Lead the planning and execution of new Centers, capacity expansion, and relocation of facilities.
  • Drive 1 or 2 project management initiatives such as Standardization, Energy Conservation programs, or Productivity Improvement measures.
  • Manage Project Financial processes.
  • Ensure on-time and safe delivery and handover of facilities adhering to highest standards and good engineering practices.
  • Support RE Team in site visits and due diligence for feasibility assessment.
  • Finalize conceptual layouts and assess layout parameters from an operations perspective.
  • Prepare Developer’s Scope of Work, Amazon scope of work, cost estimate, and Build out Capex request.
  • Finalize Project Management Consultants.
  • Plan and manage project resources through appointed PMC or hired resources.
  • Evaluate and finalize vendors with the Procurement team.
  • Review material requirements and track receipt and implementation.
  • Monitor progress and manage execution of onsite activities.
  • Track and ensure quality of work by the Developer.
  • Ensure a snag-free handover to Facilities Team.
  • Prepare for site launch closer to completion.
  • Ensure budget adherence and safe execution with no budget overruns and a targeted Zero LTI.
  • Prepare weekly progress reviews and reports.
  • Ensure timely project closure including commercials.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or a similar technical discipline.
  • Experience in construction management or construction program management of large, complex projects involving large-scale mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) plants.
