The Project Engineer Intermediate I role in Escazú, Costa Rica, involves designing and implementing control system solutions using Emerson DCS (Delta V & Ovation) and SCADA. Responsibilities include project execution, technical leadership, team supervision, and customer communication. This hybrid role requires an engineering degree, at least 4 years of experience in industrial automation, and strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Ansvarsområden

  • Design and implement hardware database, logics, graphics, and datalinks.
  • Select hardware and software for project implementation with guidance.
  • Review application documentation for quality and accuracy.
  • Work closely with project technical leaders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Solve technical problems using standard procedures, modifications, experience, or new methods.
  • Lead implementation teams in various plant processes.
  • Develop Implementation and Commissioning Plans.
  • Supervise remote engineering teams and subcontractors.
  • Lead commissioning and plant startups, acting as a site leader for small teams.
  • Track project progress, budget performance, and conduct risk assessments.
  • Mentor less experienced partners and contribute to department documentation.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement and Innovation activities.

Krav

  • Engineering degree in a related field.
  • Travel time up to 60%.
  • Intermediate level of English.
  • At least 4 years of experience in DCS or PLC/SCADA in Industrial Automation.
  • At least 4 Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and 4 Commissioning experiences.
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Good business understanding and ability to work effectively with internal and external customers.
