I korthet

As a Project Engineer in the Energy Conversion solutions team, you will lead new product development from concept to series production, focusing on reducing the carbon footprint of Atlas Copco customers through steam process technologies. This role involves specifying, designing, and optimizing electromechanical systems, defining control strategies, and collaborating internationally.

Ansvarsområden

  • Specify, design and optimize mechanical and thermodynamical systems and components.
  • Define, program and implement control strategies and translate them into soft- and hardware.
  • Develop products and components in 3D-CAD.
  • Build and maintain BOMs.
  • Define test programs, prepare instructions and follow-up of prototype assembly and testing.
  • Apply international standards and regulations (ISO, PED, ASME, …).
  • Interact with suppliers.
  • Perform calculations to support design choices.
  • Follow up production and field installations, troubleshoot quality and performance issues and implement solutions.
  • Secure and spread acquired knowledge.
  • Perform risk analysis of designs.
  • Assess and design for cost impacts, assembly possibilities, logistical chains and maintenance actions.

Krav

  • Engineering degree or equal by experience.
  • Strong general technical knowledge.
  • Fluent communication skills in English.
  • Experience in a product development environment is a strong advantage.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Passion for industrial design.
  • Knowledge of Inventor, Autocad Electrical, E-plan, Siemens TIA (or Simatic) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
