The Project Associate will conduct due diligence on suppliers and contractors, ensuring compliance with policies and verifying documentation. This role involves maintaining statutory registers, planning and executing compliance audits, and managing electronic records and self-certification reports. The position also requires coordinating with government and regulatory agencies, based in Hosakote, Karnataka.

Ansvarsområden

Conduct due diligence reviews of suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
Verify statutory registrations, licenses, certifications, and compliance records.
Identify compliance gaps and risks, coordinate corrective actions.
Ensure timely updating and maintenance of contractor documentation and statutory registers.
Plan and conduct on-site statutory compliance audits.
Collect, verify, and maintain all statutory documents and compliance records electronically.
Coordinate and follow up with relevant government departments and regulatory agencies.
Maintain records of regulatory correspondence and actions taken.

Krav

Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.), Commerce, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
Min. 3 years of relevant experience in statutory compliance, contractor compliance, labour law administration, contract management, or supplier compliance.
Strong working knowledge of applicable Indian labour laws and contractor-related statutory compliance requirements.
Familiarity with contract drafting, review, execution, and document management.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and electronic document management systems.
Excellent coordination, communication, follow-up, and stakeholder management skills.
High standards of integrity, confidentiality, attention to detail, and professional conduct.
Ability to manage multiple service providers, compliance deadlines, and audit requirements independently.

Önskade kvalifikationer

A postgraduate qualification or certification in Labour Laws, Industrial Relations, Contract Management, or Compliance Management will be an added advantage.
Experience in manufacturing, automotive, industrial operations, or a large corporate environment will be preferred.
Practical experience in statutory audits, contractor documentation, service agreements, and coordination with government authorities is desirable.
