Qualcomm is seeking a Staff Program Manager in Bangalore, India, with 7+ years of experience in program management within the semiconductor industry. This role involves developing and executing program plans, managing schedules, budgets, resources, and risks, and driving alignment across cross-functional teams. Requires strong knowledge of SOC design cycles and excellent communication and leadership skills.

Ansvarsområden

  • Develops, defines, and executes plans of record, including schedules, budgets, resources, deliverables, and risks.
  • Monitors and drives the program from initiation through delivery, interfacing with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitors budget/spending, on-time delivery, and achievement of program milestones.
  • Represents the program and drives alignment across stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders and program sponsors to develop program goals, set prioritization of deliverables, and drive decisions.
  • Manages and takes responsibility for multiple medium sized programs/technology with moderate complexity.
  • Establishes key program metrics and manages team to take action to ensure program success.
  • Identifies and secures resources to ensure alignment of team with program/technology demand.
  • Drives teams to identify program issues/risks and create a risk mitigation plan.
  • Promotes program vision and objectives within the team and presents program vision to management.
  • Promotes adoption of processes by applying best practices and identifying and executing process improvement initiatives.
  • Optimizes NRE for the Program by working with tech teams.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical or Electronics engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of Program Management or related work experience.
  • 3+ years of working with operating budgets, resources, and/or project financials.
  • 16+ years’ experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • 7+ years in Project/Program Management.
  • Good experience in Microsoft Tools like Excel, Power Point, Word, Teams and Co-Pilot.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to effectively communicate at all levels.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of SOC design cycle, Development Process, Packaging, REE, Post Silicon Validation Process and Customer Deployment.
  • Track record of proven leadership/management experience.
  • Process definition & implementation.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronics engineering, Computer Science or related field.
  • PMP Certification.
  • 7+ years of Program Management or related work experience along with PM tooks like dashboards, Grantt Charts, etc
  • 5+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above).
  • 5+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.
