Qualcomm is looking for a Staff Program Manager in Shanghai, China. This role involves developing and executing program plans, managing schedules, resources, and risks, and interfacing with internal and external stakeholders. Ansvarsområden

  • Develops, defines, and executes plans of record, including schedules, budgets, resources, deliverables, and risks.
  • Monitors and drives the program from initiation through delivery, interfacing with internal and external stakeholders across functions on technical matters.
  • Monitors budget/spending, on-time delivery, and achievement of program milestones.
  • Represents the program and drives alignment across stakeholders.
  • Works independently with little supervision.
  • Makes decisions that are significant in impact.
  • Uses verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information to multiple audiences.
  • Has a moderate amount of influence over key organizational decisions.
  • Completes tasks that require multiple steps and simultaneous execution of cognitive abilities.

  • Occasionally participates in strategic planning within own area affecting immediate operations.
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders and program sponsors to develop program goals and set prioritization of deliverables.
  • Manages and takes responsibility for multiple medium sized programs/technology with moderate complexity.
  • Develops and manages the execution of the program Plan of Record for multiple medium sized programs.
  • Establishes key program metrics and manages team to take action outside their comfort zone to ensure program success.
  • Identifies and secures resources to ensure alignment of team with program/technology demand.
  • Drives teams to identify program issues/risks, and create a risk mitigation plan.
  • Maintains and updates the risk tracker.
  • Promotes program vision and objectives within the team and presents program vision to management.
  • Promotes adoption of processes by applying best practices and identifying and executing process improvement initiatives.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years Program Management experience or related work experience.
  • 5+ years working with operating budgets, resources, and/or project financials.
  • 3+ years experience working in a large matrixed organization.
  • 3+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with customers.
  • CET6 certification
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to collect information and identify fundamental patterns/trends in data.

  • Communication: Ability to convey information clearly and accurately, using a technically sound communication style.

  • Program Management: Knowledge of program management methodology (e.g., planning, scheduling, tracking, execution) and program management tools.
  • Risk Management: Ability to identify and mitigate risks that impact programs, including prioritizing and tracking risks.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
