Qualcomm is looking for a Program Manager to oversee ASIC/SoC development projects and work with diverse, global teams. Responsibilities include defining and executing project plans, managing risks, and ensuring successful project outcomes from initiation to release. The role requires strong understanding of the semiconductor NPI lifecycle and excellent communication skills.
Ansvarsområden
- Manage assigned ASIC/SoC development projects from kick-off through customer release.
- Collaborate with cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams.
- Develop, define, and execute project plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, and deliverables.
- Track key project metrics and KPIs (schedule, scope, risks, budget, cost, quality, manufacturability).
- Support Annual Operating Planning (AOP) activities for project and portfolio spending.
- Build partnerships with leadership to identify and remove roadblocks, mitigate risks, and improve efficiency.
- Align execution priorities with market and customer requirements.
- Support customer engagements by coordinating RFI and RFQ responses.
- Communicate project status, risks, issues, and mitigation plans to stakeholders and leadership.
Krav
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end ASIC/SoC New Product Introduction (NPI) lifecycle.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and to required quality standards.
- Risk management skills including project tracking, contingency planning, issue resolution, and proactive escalation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively across engineering, operations, marketing, sales, and executive leadership teams.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced development environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2+ years of Program Management or related work experience.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- 2-3 years of semiconductor industry experience, with exposure to ASIC/SoC product development or NPI programs.
- 2-3 years of hands-on technical program/project management experience.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor product development processes, from concept definition through production release and mass manufacturing.
- Experience managing project schedules, risks, dependencies, and cross-functional execution across engineering, operations, and supply chain organizations.
- Master's degree preferred.
