ABB is looking for a Production Supervisor for the 1st shift in Pinetops, NC. This role involves leading a production team to execute manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, at least 3 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, and Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent continuous improvement experience.

Ansvarsområden

Lead a team within a Production unit or line to execute production processes.
Ensure continuous and efficient operation in accordance with volumes, schedules, procedures, drawings, and quality and safety standards.
Organize and allocate resources to meet line production targets effectively and efficiently.
Ensure production scheduling and plan meet volume requirements and inventory service levels.
Recommend technical equipment and facility improvements.
Identify deficiencies in the production area and propose improvement activities.
Oversee the implementation of actions to improve production performance.
Manage the resolution of critical product or equipment issues.
Know all safety and environmental rules/regulations affecting the work area.
Lead high quality, effective start-of-shift production meetings.
Maintain awareness of current or potential process and/or equipment issues.
Use appropriate tools (WI’s, SOP’s, JST’s, etc.) to establish and maintain operational and reliability discipline.

Krav

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in leading in a manufacturing or product development environment or equivalent leadership experience.
Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.
Some project management skills to lead small Kaizen projects.
Six Sigma Green Belt or a proven track record in leading continuous improvements projects.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs.
Ability and willingness to travel as required.
Candidates must already have authorization to work in the US.
