At ABB India, we are seeking a Production Shift Leader for our Smart Building, Electrification Business in Nelamangala, Bangalore. This on-site, full-time role involves supervising shift teams, ensuring adherence to production plans, coordinating workforce management, and focusing on operational excellence, quality, and safety. Candidates with a Diploma or BE in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics engineering and 5-10 years of manufacturing experience are encouraged to apply.

Ansvarsområden

Oversee and coordinate shift activities to ensure smooth execution of production plans, adherence to schedules, and optimal utilization of resources.
Support management in allocating tasks, managing staff movements during absences, machine breakdowns, or shifting priorities, and ensuring uninterrupted operations.
Ensure focus on production volume, efficiency, and on-time delivery while providing regular feedback and recommendations to management.
Coordinate shift teams in resolving technical, quality, and logistical challenges, ensuring strict compliance with health and safety policies.

Krav

Diploma /BE - in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics engineering.
5–10 Years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Exposure to Production Kaizen, 5S, Lean Manufacturing concepts, and workplace efficiency.
Basic understanding of production planning, job allotment, and task scheduling.
Ability to support effective utilization of manpower, machines, and materials on the shop floor.
Familiarity with safety practices and structured, process-driven production environments.
Skilled written and verbal communication.
