Autoliv is looking for a Production Quality Senior Technician in Tremonton to support the development and manufacturing of automotive airbag components. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for maintaining quality standards, conducting tests, and supporting engineering teams.

Ansvarsområden

  • Gather, maintain, format, compile, and manipulate technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes.
  • Provide technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks.
  • Produce engineering documentation and reports.
  • Conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.
  • Provide feedback/recommendations to leadership as appropriate.
  • Develop, modify, apply and maintain quality standards and protocol for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials/product.
  • Collaborate with other engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.
  • Devise and implement methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
  • Design or specify inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment; conduct quality assurance tests; and perform statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
  • Ensure that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards, and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
  • May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality.
  • Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems.

Krav

  • Bachelor’s degree or currently Pursuing an Engineering Degree (previous experience will be considered)
  • Quality control in a manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of DOE and SPC concepts.
