I korthet

The Production Planner is responsible for creating the shop floor plan and collaborating with operations to ensure timely execution of manufacturing orders. This role requires maintaining PFEP parameters for optimized planning, balancing customer service and inventory goals, and troubleshooting issues to drive business results.

Ansvarsområden

  • Creates and communicates the daily/weekly production plan.
  • Reviews work orders and collaborates with Business Unit Managers and plant supervisors for proper plant prioritization.
  • Reviews unreleased work orders to determine root cause(s).
  • Reviews and updates PFEP planning parameters based on historical data, standard work, and business needs.
  • Monitors component supermarkets and prioritizes production.
  • Reviews blocking parts and drives actions to mitigate.
  • Partners with the Inventory Control Team to maintain accurate system inventories and supports Physical Inventory.

Krav

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years of Sourcing, Supply Chain Planning or Materials Planning experience
  • Applied experience planning using ERP systems (JDE, Oracle, SAP).
  • Functional experience with Excel required.
  • Occasionally lift and maneuver 30lbs.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • JDE planning experience preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, XLOOKUPs, etc.) strongly desired.
  • Production Planning or scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
