The Production Planner is responsible for analyzing work orders, managing material procurement, and ensuring efficient production flow. This role requires proficiency in MRP/ERP systems, an understanding of fabrication processes, and strong communication skills in English and Spanish. A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field and 2+ years of experience are preferred.

Ansvarsområden

  • Analyze work orders to flag potential issues and work with purchasing to secure missing materials.
  • Expedite deliveries to ensure orders stay on track and production runs efficiently.
  • Review dispatch lists and track order progress through Manufacturing, Warehouse, and Packaging.
  • Maintain communication with the Master Planning Leader to ensure work orders are clean and released for production within four days.
  • Analyze open orders and collaborate with teams to address potential stockouts, creating shortage lists and negotiating delivery dates.
  • Proactively review work orders and correct mistakes to ensure accurate instructions reach the production floor.

Krav

  • Good understanding of fabrication processes (welding, machining, cutting, forming, etc.).
  • Familiarity with material requirements planning (MRP) and inventory control principles.
  • Proficiency in using production scheduling software (e.g., MRP, ERP).
  • Experience in Machining planning programs (High Volume - High Mix Assemblies).
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong planning and alignment skills.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, International Business or related areas.
  • 2+ years of experience in production planning, line balancing, customer service, reporting and graphics and interdisciplinary work.
  • Fluent communication in English and Spanish.
  • Knowledge of MRP / CRP / MPS.
  • Efficient in the use of MS Office (Excel).
  • Desirable experience in Oracle software.
  • An active teammate with a focus on continuous improvement and customer service.
