As a Production Engineering Specialist at ABB in Xiamen, China, you will optimize assembly methods, processes, and equipment to enhance efficiency, cost, and safety. You will analyze production processes, identify improvements, and lead continuous optimization projects in a full-time, on-site role.

Ansvarsområden

Optimize production assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours.
Research advanced equipment and emerging technologies for automation and smart factory initiatives.
Develop layout, value stream maps, standard operating procedures, and standard labor times.
Analyze existing production processes to identify bottlenecks and waste, implementing improvement measures.
Implement Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to track improvement performance.
Develop standardized operation instructions (SOPs) to ensure consistency and reduce errors.
Plan production line layouts for smooth material flow and reduced handling.
Design or improve fixtures and auxiliary production equipment.
Evaluate costs in the production process and identify cost savings opportunities.
Implement cost control measures like reducing material loss and improving equipment utilization.
Evaluate new process technologies for productivity, quality, and cost reduction.
Lead or participate in lean production, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement projects.
Set up new production lines with the intelligent manufacturing team.

Krav

Bachelor’s degree or above in science and engineering (e.g., mechanical engineering, automation, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, electronic engineering).
3+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Production lean improvement, Operation excellence, or related fields.
Demonstrated good improvement sense and solid improvement results.
Good electrical safety sense and full understanding of electrical safety rules.
Proficiency in relevant computer software such as SolidWorks, CAD, ERP, and MES.
Experience in IE related projects with actual project operation experience, capable of completing the entire project lifecycle independently.
Fluency in oral and written English.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coordinating skills.
Strong sense of responsibility, team spirit, and ability to work under pressure.
Good team-working spirit and ability to work independently under strong pressure.
Good at learning new knowledge, new skills, and adapting to industry development and technological change.
Result-oriented mindset and focus on daily execution.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Good knowledge in medium voltage switchgear is preferred.
