ABB is seeking a Production Engineering Specialist in Xiamen, China, to optimize assembly methods, processes, and equipment. The role involves back-end development for production systems like MES and LES, leading large-scale smart manufacturing projects, and driving the integration of AI and machine learning applications within these systems.
Ansvarsområden
- Optimize the Production organization’s assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs, and safety.
- Ensure appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets.
- Define the working phase sequence of a new production process to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget.
- Responsible for back-end development, solution design, interface development and maintenance of Production system, such as Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Logistics Execution System (LES).
- Develop core modules covering work order management, production reporting, quality control, material traceability, equipment data collection and production reports.
- Develop and jointly debug interfaces connecting MES with ERP, WMS, SCADA and on-site PLC equipment.
- Optimize system performance, troubleshoot faults, prepare technical documents, conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Lead the organization and delivery of large-scale smart manufacturing projects; coordinate task allocation, resources and schedules, organize technical reviews and issue reviews to ensure on-time and high-quality project delivery.
- Drive intelligent upgrading of MES; develop machine learning and AI applications, design integration solutions between MES and AI systems, and implement industrial AI scenarios including intelligent early warning, intelligent quality inspection and process optimization.
Krav
- Skilled in Java, C#/.NET proficient in MySQL/SQL Server and complex SQL optimization.
- Familiar with WebService, HTTP, OPC UA and other protocols; experienced in equipment data collection.
- Sound knowledge of core MES business: production traceability, process management, production reporting and quality inspection.
- Proven experience organizing large-scale projects with outstanding task planning, cross-party coordination and project delivery capabilities.
- Hands-on experience in AI and machine learning application development; familiar with mainstream deep learning frameworks; capable of designing integration schemes connecting AI algorithms with MES business systems.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Candidates with MES and industrial AI project experience in equipment manufacturing, electrical and electronics industries are preferred.
