We are seeking a Production Drexel Forklift Driver in Memphis, TN, responsible for operating specialized material handling equipment to move and store goods efficiently and safely, especially in tight spaces. This role involves inspecting equipment, performing maintenance, adhering to safety protocols, and managing workflow in varying environmental conditions, with a starting hourly rate of $21.00.

Ansvarsområden

  • Operate specialized material handling equipment (Drexel/Landoll/Bendi Swingmast forklifts) to move and store goods in tight spaces.
  • Rotate mast assembly 90° and shift left/right to pick or place loads in very narrow aisles.
  • Maintain a constant flow of raw products onto assigned production lines.
  • Work closely with Production Leads to ensure smooth movement of acceptable raw product.
  • Assist in unloading, transporting, and putting away inbound raw product.
  • Inspect powered jacks/trucks for operating conditions and safety.
  • Unload material and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them in assigned places.
  • Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
  • Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
  • Transport raw materials to production workstations.
  • Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and perform regular maintenance.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and efficient workflow for all assignments.
  • Communicate with supervisor, leads, and production teams.
  • Adhere to all Company Policies and safety programs.
  • Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) at all times.
  • Maintain a safe work area.
  • Work outside in various weather conditions when needed.
  • Work in cold (34-38 degrees F) and wet environments.
  • Lift 75 pounds consistently.

Krav

  • Forklift certified.
  • Ability to change priorities rapidly and work independently and/or with teams.
  • Product knowledge and understanding of material requirements planning.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift/move product and supplies up to 50 pounds.
  • General math skills.
  • Understanding of basic 5S.
  • Ability to work well without direct supervision, task-oriented.
  • Process-oriented.
  • Must be able to work outside when needed in any weather conditions.
  • Capable of working in a cold (34-38 degrees F) and wet environment.
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds consistently.
