Walker Filtration is hiring a Production & Quality Manager for Process Filtration in Rock Hill, SC. This role involves overseeing manufacturing, assembly, testing, and quality operations, ensuring compliance with strict standards, and driving continuous improvement. The manager will lead production, testing, and logistics teams and is responsible for operational excellence.

Ansvarsområden

  • Provide operational leadership for production, logistics, and test teams, maintaining quality and cleanliness in a cleanroom environment.
  • Coach and train team members on safety, problem-solving, SOPs, test methods, programming, and quality requirements.
  • Operate and train personnel on machinery and test equipment for process filter production.
  • Coordinate and monitor production orders and schedules for timely delivery.
  • Support department planning and execution to meet delivery and quality standards.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance activities and ensure efficient machine setup/changeovers.
  • Ensure collection and accurate recording of critical process information for compliance.
  • Ensure personnel follow SOPs and implement improvements for production quality and compliance.
  • Oversee facility and production standards for compliance with FDA CFR Title 21, ISO 13485, ISO 14644, USP Class VI, and cGMP.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Krav

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of five years of trade school education and/or related work experience.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, and lab operations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to foster a positive and collaborative culture.
  • Must exhibit strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to work effectively with limited supervision while maintaining a high level of quality.
  • Foster and maintain positive working relationships and effective communication with all levels of plant personnel.
  • Ability to perform a variety of tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience with machine maintenance, programming and repair is a plus.
  • Experience in filtration, fluid handling, or related industries is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with highly regulated products and ISO cleanrooms is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and GMP practices.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience with plastic welding and pleating machines is a plus.
  • Previous experience with SAP, shipping systems, and Microsoft Office 365.
  • PLC programming experience (Allen Bradley, Siemens) is desirable.
