I korthet

We are seeking a Product Support Engineer in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, to provide technical assistance to customers regarding ultrasonic welding equipment. This role involves troubleshooting electro-mechanical and software issues, collaborating with internal teams, and documenting customer interactions to ensure optimal equipment performance and customer satisfaction.

Ansvarsområden

  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and other digital communication channels.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to installation, operation, maintenance, and application of ultrasonic welding equipment and systems.
  • Analyze electro-mechanical and software-related product concerns and recommend effective corrective actions.
  • Partner with customers to identify solutions that minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Document technical cases, customer interactions, and recurring product issues within established systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Sales teams to resolve complex customer challenges.
  • Support product quality initiatives by identifying trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for product improvement.
  • Escalate highly complex technical matters to Technical Support Engineers when appropriate.
  • Build strong customer relationships by delivering responsive, professional, and solution-oriented support.

Krav

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience supporting industrial equipment, automation systems, manufacturing technologies, or electro-mechanical products.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills involving mechanical, electrical, or software-related systems.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation, equipment manuals, and engineering drawings.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong customer service orientation and professional communication skills.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications and CRM or case management systems.
  • Ability to travel occasionally as business needs require.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience with ultrasonic welding technology, plastic joining processes, automation systems, or industrial manufacturing environments.
  • Previous experience in technical support, field service, applications engineering, or customer-facing engineering roles.
  • Familiarity with PLCs, industrial controls, sensors, pneumatics, and automation equipment.
  • Experience supporting global customers in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies and continuous improvement tools.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency.
  • Experience working with Salesforce, SAP, or similar business systems.
