As a Product Manager for the Gripen Weapon System in Linköping, Sweden, you will define the long-term strategy and capabilities of the product throughout its lifecycle. This role requires strategic planning, customer dialogue, and collaboration with various stakeholders to shape future operational needs and technological advancements.
Ansvarsområden
- Develop long-term product strategy and direction.
- Define and maintain product plans, capability roadmaps, and priorities.
- Lead capability studies and strategic assessments.
- Translate operational and customer needs into requirements.
- Balance needs of Swedish Air Force and international customers.
- Work with Marketing & Sales on market opportunities and customer dialogues.
- Make strategic trade-offs between customer needs, technical possibilities, and business opportunities.
- Follow the product's development at a strategic level.
Krav
- Several years of experience in strategic product planning, product management, systems engineering, or a similar role, preferably within defence or aerospace.
- Experience with long-term product or capability development and translating operational or customer needs into strategic plans and requirements.
- Ability to move between technical discussions and strategic or commercial discussions.
- Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English.
- A relevant engineering degree, or equivalent experience.
- Must pass a security vetting.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Experience of the Gripen system or another complex weapon system.
- Experience in technical sales, capability development, or operational use of complex systems.
- Previous experience working with FMV, the Swedish Armed Forces, or international defence customers.
