Atlas Copco China is seeking a Product Engineer for their Wuxi R&D team, focusing on new energy portable compressors. This role involves leading technology projects, from scheme design and prototype development to technical validation, driving the launch of innovative and sustainable compressor solutions.
Ansvarsområden
- Research domestic new energy technologies & supply chain, identify industry strengths and potential application scenarios for mobile air compressors, deliver feasibility reports.
- Develop system scheme for new energy potable compressors; carry out integrated design of power battery matching and DC motor compressor rotor assembly; resolve challenges on power coupling, layout, thermal management and vibration.
- Conduct component selection, 3D modeling, drawing release, BOM generation and technical documentation; lead prototype build, bench test and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with marketing team, translate customer requirements into engineering solutions and support pre sales technical proposals.
- Track cutting edge technologies of new energy compressors; conduct pre research and support patent application, drive product iteration.
- Work with electrical, sourcing and manufacturing teams to support pilot batch, improve reliability, cost and manufacturability.
Krav
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related disciplines.
- Minimum 3+ years of mechanical design experience in air compressor, mobile equipment or construction machinery.
- Hands on experience in new energy equipment development.
- Familiar with power battery and DC motor structures.
- Proficient in 3D CAD tools such as Creo / SolidWorks.
- Capable of independently completing overall product scheme, component design and BOM generation.
- Full cycle project experience including prototype assembly, technical testing and issue rectification.
- Able to identify real world customer application scenarios and translate industry technical advantages into feasible complete machine design solutions.
- Experience in launching new products from conceptual design through prototyping to pilot production.
- Good cross functional communication skills and strong stress tolerance.
- Mandarin mother tongue and good knowledge of English both oral and writing.
Önskade kvalifikationer
- Prior experience in air‑compressor rotor and main unit design is preferred.
- Proven experience in integrated design of motor rotor assembly is a plus.
- Understanding of domestic new energy industrial chain and capability to iterate product solutions based on application scenarios.
- Experience with Engineering CAT & LMS testing tools is an asset.
- Background in portable air compressors or energy storage enabled construction machinery is highly preferred.
- Good self-learning ability, able to learn and grow fast in unknown area.
