Alstom is seeking a full-time Product Chief Engineer for Rolling Stock in Bangalore. This role involves shaping product performance and architecture, managing the product roadmap, and supporting technical strategies throughout the product lifecycle. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions in the rail industry.

Ansvarsområden

  • Gathering and analyzing customer needs and market trends to inform product strategy.
  • Defining and maintaining product architecture, ensuring modularity and scalability.
  • Leading the product variability model to support customization and adaptability.
  • Providing technical solutions for bids and proposals while balancing cost and innovation.
  • Overseeing the product’s Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) throughout its lifecycle.
  • Supporting project teams during execution by resolving technical issues and ensuring adherence to product policy.

Krav

  • A Master’s Degree in a technical field and/or project management.
  • At least 15+ years of experience in project management or product management, with an engineering background and a full lifecycle view of product deployment.
  • Proficiency in Rolling Stocks design, development, and lifecycle management.
  • Understanding of product development processes and product architecture.
  • Knowledge of economics and financial decision-making in R&D environments.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities to guide cross-functional teams.
  • Business fluency in English.
