Amazon's Global Solutions and Risk Compliance (GSRC) team seeks a Senior Compliance Associate to ensure global product compliance by reviewing product information against SOPs and regulatory documentation. The role involves classifying products using Amazon-specific tools, collaborating with managers and experts, maintaining records, and identifying process improvement opportunities. A Bachelor's degree and proficiency in MS Office Suite and basic SQL are required, with preferred experience in advanced Excel and quantitative analysis.

Ansvarsområden

  • Review product information as per Standard Operations Procedures (SOP) and cross-check against relevant regulatory documentation.
  • Classify products using various Amazon-specific tools and systems to ensure compliance with necessary requirements for availability on Amazon.
  • Work closely with managers and Process Experts to address deviations from standard SOPs, seeking guidance when necessary.
  • Maintain detailed records of assigned tasks and utilize standardized reports to prioritize work, meeting Quality, Productivity, and Service Level Agreement targets.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and collaborate with partner teams to explore ways to reduce manual effort, such as automating reports using Excel queries.
  • Share feedback on the team's SOPs, contributing to the ongoing refinement of operational processes.
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions, contributing with expertise and learnings.
  • Support peers by answering their queries and providing process-level training as a mentor.

Krav

  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel tool as per role requirements (filtering and sorting in data sets, cell referencing, pivot tables, data validation, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of SQL, can self-service defined queries and make simple changes to retrieve data from a database.
  • Knowledgeable in Customer Relationship Management tools, managing customer data and tracking interactions.
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyze and identify patterns across data sets and information.
  • Problem-solving skills, with the ability to find solutions through logic, intuition, creativity, and design thinking.
  • Commitment to investigation, research, and diving deep to seek facts.
  • Ability to understand, interpret, critique, analyze and communicate data.
  • Experience working with the MS Office suite (Microsoft Office suite) including Word, Excel, and Outlook in a professional environment.
  • Experience in oral and written communication in English.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or other related field.
  • Knowledge of consumer product compliance processes and regulations.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • 1+ years of data-driven business operations processes experience.
  • Knowledge of Excel at an advanced level.
  • Knowledge of basic SQL queries.
  • Experience working in a fast-moving consumer business.
  • Experience with quantitative analysis including database analysis and Excel.
