ABB is seeking a Procurement Specialist in Aleksandrów Łódzki, Poland, to support procurement operations within the Strategic Supply Unit. This hybrid role involves executing end-to-end procurement activities, monitoring supplier performance, analyzing data, and driving continuous improvement and digitalization initiatives.

Ansvarsområden

  • Execute end-to-end procurement activities, including purchase order management, supplier communication, order confirmations, inbound logistics coordination, delivery follow-up, invoicing, and resolution of supply-related issues.
  • Monitor supplier performance and support initiatives to improve quality, delivery reliability, responsiveness, and overall operational efficiency.
  • Analyze procurement and logistics data, develop reports and KPIs, and provide insights that support operational decision-making and business performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement and digitalization initiatives by identifying process optimization opportunities, supporting automation efforts, and contributing to the design, testing, and implementation of procurement-related systems and tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in planning, logistics, sourcing, customer support, finance, and master data management to support business objectives and process excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with ABB policies, procedures, and ethical standards while supporting knowledge sharing, best practice implementation, and organizational development.

Krav

  • Experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, logistics, customer operations, or a similar operational environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Interest in digitalization, process automation, and systems development.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a global and cross-functional environment.
  • Fluency in English and Polish.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience in inbound logistics, import/export processes, customs requirements, and international trade operations would be considered an advantage.
