Electrolux Group is seeking a Procurement Category Manager in Shanghai to lead global purchasing strategies, focusing on cost, quality, and flexibility with strategic suppliers. Ansvarsområden

  • Manage global procurement purchasing for all Business Areas.
  • Drive complexity reduction, simplification, and cost performance through VBS process and supplier development.
  • Collaborate on sourcing decisions with Global Domain Managers and stakeholders.
  • Lead LTA negotiations, supplier selection, and cost modeling analysis.
  • Conduct innovation prospection and develop strong supplier relationships.
  • Manage cross-functional team relationships.
  • Perform data research, analytics, and direct material category strategy development.
  • Support annual budget and 5-year strategic plan development.
  • Generate initiatives to deliver productivity targets.
  • Lead industry and supplier analysis as part of a cross-functional sourcing team.
  • Provide leadership to IndOp purchasing teams for project execution.
  • Participate in RFQ processes and strategic sourcing activities.
  • Manage and evaluate contractual agreements.
  • Assist in implementing and expanding payment terms.
  • Evaluate and propose actions for simplification and complexity reduction.
  • Participate in negotiations using Value Based Sourcing (VBS).
  • Maximize buying efficiency, minimize supply disruption, and financial risks.
  • Support Program Management on new model launches.
  • Address supplier-driven performance issues.
  • Identify contract improvement and re-negotiation opportunities.
  • Build and deploy category strategy aligning with Business Areas' requirements.

Krav

  • University degree (Industrial/Mechanical engineer or Economics background is an asset).
  • 3-5 years of progressive strategic sourcing, category management, or equivalent leadership experience.
  • Proven track record of managing and delivering cost reductions/value creation.
  • Ability to work with global stakeholders at various levels.
  • Strong leadership skills, including managing supplier resources and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in purchasing for commodities, with the capability to analyze issues, recommend solutions, and implement change.
  • Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing methodology and its application.
  • Strong knowledge of direct materials categories.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage strategic supplier relationships.
  • Knowledge of supplier processes and cost drivers.
  • Results-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills to meet goals and deliver results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Fluent in English; other languages are an asset.
