The ideal candidate will develop and optimize manufacturing processes, support production, and lead continuous improvement projects.
Ansvarsområden
- Develop, optimize, and maintain manufacturing processes and process formulations.
- Evaluate existing production methods and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide daily technical support to production teams, resolving issues.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret process data.
- Design, implement, and validate process improvements.
- Lead capital investment projects for advanced production technologies.
- Support Sustainability and Digital Transformation 4.0 initiatives.
- Collaborate with R&D, suppliers, and global production facilities.
- Participate in and lead continuous improvement projects.
- Coordinate corrective action activities.
- Develop and maintain work instructions and technical standards.
- Partner with production teams, maintenance, and suppliers.
- Support operators through technical guidance, training, and coaching.
- Promote Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and TPM initiatives.
- Demonstrate visible safety leadership.
- Ensure compliance with regulations.
- Support ISO-certified management systems.
- Work with Maintenance and suppliers to improve equipment reliability.
- Support alternative sourcing initiatives.
Krav
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a systematic approach to troubleshooting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
- Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
- Requires current authorization to work in the United States. Sandvik cannot provide employment-based visa sponsorship.
- This role is based on site in Westminster, SC. Remote or international work arrangements are not available.

Önskade kvalifikationer
- Hands-on Process Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing Principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of production processes, quality systems, and industrial manufacturing technologies.
- Experience leading capital projects and implementing process improvements.
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0, digital manufacturing technologies, or automation initiatives.
