I korthet

Synopsys seeks a Principal Verification Engineer in Bengaluru to design and implement AI-enabled verification flows for digital IP using Synopsys tools. You will contribute to an internal AI platform, define verification methods, and provide technical guidance on UVM and SystemVerilog, impacting verification quality and time-to-market globally.

Ansvarsområden

Design and implement AI-enabled verification flows for Synopsys digital IP using VCS, Verdi, VMS Execution Manager, Verdi Planner (HVP), and VIPs.
Contribute hands-on to the internal Agentic AI platform that IP engineering teams use to develop, verify, and deliver IP.
Define and document verification methods, best practices, and practical AI use cases for digital IP projects.
Provide technical guidance on UVM, SystemVerilog, flow optimization, and debug to engineers.
Own technical initiatives from concept through production deployment.
Partner with EDA development teams to share field feedback and improve verification workflows.
Diagnose flow issues, bottlenecks, and tool limitations, then develop and deploy solutions.

Krav

10+ years of hands-on IP or SoC verification experience, including building verification environments from the ground up and driving technical initiatives to completion.
Strong working knowledge of digital verification methods and Synopsys tools including VCS, Verdi, VMS Execution Manager, Verdi Planner (HVP), and VIP.
Proficiency in SystemVerilog, UVM, Tcl, and Python for building and automating verification flows.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
Demonstrated ability to architect verification flows and infrastructure for complex digital designs from initial concept through production deployment is desired.
Experience applying LLMs or other Agentic AI frameworks to accelerate verification flows is a strong plus.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, document technical methods clearly, and communicate effectively across global teams and time zones.

Önskade kvalifikationer

An advanced degree is a plus.
You explain technical tradeoffs in two sentences without losing the nuance.
You take ownership of problems end-to-end, make decisions using evidence and data, and offer practical alternatives when a standard method does not fit the context.
You work independently without needing constant direction, but you know when to pull in cross-functional expertise and you collaborate effectively across teams and time zones.
You share what you learn through clear documentation and direct knowledge transfer.
You stay current on verification and AI tools by focusing on what actually works in production.
You stay hands-on with design and debug even at a principal level.
You push back when a flow or method is too vague, a timeline is unrealistic, or an AI use case is solving the wrong problem, and you do it with alternatives, not just critique.

Förmåner

Comprehensive range of health, wellness, and financial benefits.
Total rewards include both monetary and non-monetary offerings.
