I korthet

We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer with a C# and electronics background to research, design, and implement application software for test systems validating RFICs. This role requires technical leadership, collaboration with global teams, and a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.

Ansvarsområden

  • Research, design, and implement application software/Measurement IP/components for test systems used to validate RFICs.
  • Own system and/or features of the system, leading them from definition through release.
  • Collaborate with global R&D teams on feature dependencies, product release, and customer critical issues.
  • Design/Develop IP/features for re-usability across systems/future opportunities, following standard software development methodologies.
  • Seek feedback and implement changes based on Business Managers, System Architect, and Application Engineers.
  • Provide technical leadership, drive technical decisions, and contribute to code reviews.
  • Identify and recommend architecture and process improvements for product quality and development efficiency.
  • Lead critical issues and customer partner concerns to resolution.
  • Lead/drive initiatives to advance team skills and proficiency.
  • Cultivate a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Lead/mentor junior engineers/technicians in the team.

Krav

  • B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electronics, Instrumentation, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in development of application/system/ATE for Test and Measurement, preferably for RF.
  • Hands-on design, development, and debugging skills in LabVIEW/C#/C++/Python, TestStand.
  • Familiarity with post-Silicon validation and production test using NI RF instruments, drivers, and NI STS (Semiconductor Test System).
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Proven interpersonal skills and commitment to teamwork.
  • Possess team skills, self-starter, and ability to work independently.
  • Collaboration skills and ability to communicate cross-functionally.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, English language competency.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Experience in validation and characterization of RFIC devices/components such as RFFE, Power Amplifier, Transceivers (TRx), Filters, Switches etc.
  • Experience in using lab equipment such as Oscilloscopes, RF Instruments (VST, VNA, RFSA, RFSG), Protocol Analyzers, Function Generators etc.
  • Experience using NI hardware, RF drivers, STS, and application software such as LabVIEW, TestStand, RFmx, RFIC Test Software.
  • Experience with post-Silicon validation and production test of RFICs using NI RF instruments, RF drivers, and NI STS (Semiconductor Test System).
