Microsoft is looking for a Principal Engineering Manager to lead the User Authentication team, focusing on securing identities and AI agents. Ansvarsområden

  • Build and grow the team by hiring, developing, and retaining high-caliber engineers.
  • Set the technical and product direction, ensuring delivery of secure systems.
  • Establish standards for safe agentic engineering, focusing on correctness, explainability, and reversibility of AI.
  • Build a team culture prioritizing reliability, security, and operational excellence.
  • Represent the team's work to leadership and customers.
  • Shape the roadmap with partners and executives, incorporating feedback.
  • Embody company culture and values.

Krav

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements, including Microsoft Cloud Background Check.

  • 3+ years people management experience.
  • Experience in either identity, security systems or distributed systems at scale.
