Electrolux Group is looking for a Principal Designer with expertise in Physical Design to drive form language and user experience for home appliances and potentially automotive industries. This role involves leading creative sprints, mentoring designers, and collaborating with technical teams. Ansvarsområden

  • Drive the development of form language and experience in Physical Design.
  • Collaborate closely with Digital Design for a holistic design approach.
  • Lead creative sprints and workshops with advanced expertise.
  • Mentor upcoming designers and foster a culture of design critique.
  • Inform processes and approaches to solve problems and lead others to solutions.
  • Interpret design briefs, sketches, or concept art to develop 3D designs.
  • Manage multiple projects in different stages concurrently.
  • Build bridges between design and technical areas like R&D, Manufacturing, and external suppliers.
  • Provide feedback on designs and make necessary revisions to refine 3D models.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and software tools in 3D design.
  • Be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/EAI).

Krav

  • Degree or higher-level qualification in a relevant design or engineering field.
  • Relevant experience in home appliance products or automotive industries.
  • Proven track record of excellent design performance.
  • Highly developed computer design skills: Alias, Rhino, CatiaV5, Illustrator, Photoshop, Keyshot and other relevant design software.
  • Organized to deal with several projects at the same time.
  • Developed in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge/expertise in one or more areas.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Portfolio/personal website submission is mandatory.

  • Spanish is a plus.
