As Practice Director in Bangalore, Karnataka, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end business operations for the Semiconductor Engineering business unit. This role requires strategic workforce planning, demand-supply management, talent pipeline development, university engagement, resource optimization, and business financial governance.

Ansvarsområden

Own semiconductor engineering demand forecasting and develop workforce supply plans.
Define and maintain skill taxonomy and capability clusters across semiconductor domains.
Manage allocation, redeployment, and optimization of engineering resources.
Establish and manage partnerships with engineering colleges and universities for campus hiring.
Manage relationships with external training providers and coordinate technical training programs.
Build proactive talent pipelines and support hiring strategies for niche semiconductor skills.
Establish operational reviews and publish workforce, demand, fulfillment, hiring, and training dashboards.
Own business unit operational financial tracking and governance, managing overhead budgets.
Prepare and present workforce and financial insights to senior leadership.

Krav

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electronics, ECE, EEE, Computer Science, Instrumentation or related discipline).
20-25 years of experience in operations, workforce management, business operations, or delivery management.
At least 5 years in semiconductor engineering, VLSI services, semiconductor R&D, or engineering services organizations.
Experience managing large engineering workforces and talent supply chains.
Experience working with academic institutions and training partners.
Advanced Excel skills.
Proficiency in Power BI / Tableau.
Strong analytical and workforce analytics capabilities.
Experience with financial modeling and data-driven decision making.
Cross-functional collaboration skills.
Strategic thinking ability.
Vendor management, negotiation, and influencing skills.
Executive communication capabilities.

Önskade kvalifikationer

MBA (Operations, HR, Finance, Strategy) preferred.
Semiconductor product development lifecycle knowledge.
Understanding of SoC design and verification ecosystem.
Familiarity with semiconductor engineering services business models.
Experience with demand forecasting and program governance.
