Join Volvo Group as a Planning Department Intern in Shanghai, supporting daily operations, data collection, and report generation. Ansvarsområden

  • Assist in collecting, consolidating, and verifying sales orders and forecast data in systems.
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly production planning reports and track execution progress.
  • Verify material kitting status, compile shortage lists, and follow up on delivery.
  • Maintain master data in SAP/ERP systems (work order status, inventory data, production versions).
  • Organize shipment schedules and verify shipping documents and logistics information.
  • Take meeting minutes, manage document archiving, and update SOP materials.
  • Map data flow pathways to identify disconnects and redundancies among departments.
  • Analyze data collection and processing status, quantifying manual effort and error rates.
  • Propose and develop automated reporting or data cleansing scripts using advanced Excel or Python.
  • Report optimization progress bi-weekly to the supervisor.
  • Complete other routine tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Krav

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or above.
  • Majors preferred: Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Information Management, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Minimum availability of 4 days per week for at least 6 months.
  • Proficient in Excel, including PivotTable, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and conditional formatting.
  • Familiar with Word and PPT.
  • Proficient in at least one of: Excel VBA/Power Query, Python data processing, SQL basic queries, Power BI/Tableau visualization.
  • Basic understanding of production planning, material management, or supply chain processes.
  • Relevant internship or course project experience is preferred.
  • Clear logic, data-sensitive with a proactive optimization mindset.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Detail-oriented and responsible.

Önskade kvalifikationer

  • Students in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Information Management, Statistics, Computer Science, or related majors are preferred.
  • Relevant internship or course project experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and data analysis tools is a strong asset.
