I korthet

As a Planner, you will be responsible for supporting the creation and execution of the Master Production Schedule, releasing and managing work orders, and validating their readiness. This role requires close collaboration with various departments to ensure smooth production flow and timely order completion.

Ansvarsområden

Support the creation, maintenance, and execution of the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
Review and release work orders in accordance with production priorities and schedule requirements.
Validate work order readiness, including BOM accuracy, routing accuracy, material availability, and subassembly availability.
Review order requirements for completeness and readiness, coordinating with Customer Care, Engineering, and customers.
Work closely with Engineering to identify and implement approved material substitutions.
Monitor and manage work orders through the entire production lifecycle.
Actively manage aging WIP by identifying root causes and driving corrective actions.
Partner with manufacturing leadership to balance material availability, labor capacity, and production priorities.
Verify material issues, completions, backflushes, subassembly transactions, and inventory movements before closing work orders.
Communicate production priorities, shortages, schedule risks, and recovery plans to stakeholders.
Interact with all levels of plant and corporate personnel.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Work overtime as required.

Krav

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
A minimum of 3 years of manufacturing, production planning, materials planning, scheduling, or supply chain experience.
Strong knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
Experience working with Bills of Material (BOMs), routings, and inventory transactions.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Önskade kvalifikationer

Previous experience with Oracle ERP.
APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM preferred).
Experience in a make-to-order or mixed-mode manufacturing environment.
